Hana Vykoupilová has accomplished her studies of Political Science and Sociology at the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University, Brno. Currently she is a post-graduate student at the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University. Academically she is interested in the research of European federalism, particularly in connection with interest groups and political parties on the European level and in research of national identity.

In 2001, she studied at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. In 2003, she as a lecturer participated at the conjunctive project of IIPS, Czech ministries of Foreign Affairs and of Education. In the same year, she passed a month internship at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Within her postgraduate study, she taught courses “State, Nation and Nationalism” and “National Identity in Post-communist Countries”.
