Roman Chytilek: FPTP v britských volbách 2005 a kanadských volbách 2006. Dvě strany téže mince?
The article deals with district level electoral competition in Canada and Great Britain. Analyzing fragmentation,degree of competition and district heterogeneity of party support, we argue that Great Britain and Canada now representin respect to Duvergerian agenda proximate (and not –as before- distal) cases. This convergence has been accompanied bydeparture of both electoral arenas from former status quo in at least one from the dimensions under observation.
